    Main town: Marigot (French part).

    Entry formalities :
    For citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area, Andorra, Monaco and Switzerland, visas are not required: you just need a valid passport (flights land in the Dutch part of the island) and a return ticket.
    For nationals from other countries and only for stays of three months or less, an ordinary valid passport is sufficient, and a return ticket

    Time difference with Paris : - 5 hours in winter, - 6 hours in summer.

    Currency : Euro and US $.

    Climate : Mild tropical

    Temperature : Between 27°C and 29°C all year round

    Getting there

    For intercontinental flights, there are several departures a day from Princess Juliana Airport (on the Dutch side), linked to the major European airports, via connecting flights with Air France and Corsair among others.
    The Grand Case airport, in the French part of the island, is used for flights arriving from the Caribbean, in general with Air Caraïbes.
